ok all done laptop fully working now. -
ok, so now i am getting "tamper detect when i turn it on.
I have run the autopatcher and generated a new clean bios.
in the instruction it says press the tamper button in , and remove hdd.
i can remove the hdd, before i apply the new bios using the flasher, but where is the tamper button?Leave a comment:

can someone please help with the attached bios file for my L470.
I forgot the supervisor password after leaving switched off for a few years of no usage. I want to give it to my nephew as a gift but cant.
i have tried to read the documentation provide to self help but I find it confusing and do not want to brick the device.

Lenovo W541 Whitelist removal
Hi All,
I wonder if anyone can help me please.
I would like to see if someone can remove the hardware whitelist that is applied to the BIOS of my Lenovo W541 laptop? it prevents you from adding a newer Wi-Fi 6 card such as the AX200 / AX210.

Hi,
Please can someone tell me what my SVR password is so I can go in and remove it?
I have used the CH341a to save the bios 3 times to make sure the file is the same each time and no corruption.
Please see the attached 1.zip file. your help is greatly appreciated.
