LANIX NEURON FLEX 12C4-C20 BIOS REQUEST

I need the bios for this Lanix, bios setup had password, I desoldered the SPI chip (25LQ64CVIS) it read once (I used RT809F) but the backup saved was corrupt, I tried to read it again but it fail, I suppose the chip is dead, I´ve been searching over internet but couldn´t find a matching bios for this laptop model or motherboard.

    MODEL: LANIX NEURON FLEX 12C4-C20
    MOTHERBOARD: In-SG133H_VF1
    SN: 2882301749
SPECS: Intel Celeron J4115, 4GB RAM, 64GB EMMC

    Thanks in advance.

Sorry, somehow I mixed the SPI chip model, it is actually 25LB64CVIG which is 1.8V, RT809F doesn´t have that model but has GD25LQ64C_1.8V

Choose GD25LQ64C manually then , and if there is a verify option turn that off. Post the new backup

I did disabled auto-verification, read it two times with two different options: GD25LQ64C_1.8V and GD25LQ64C_1.8V(8K BIT OTP) it´s still corrupted, I didn´t tried before but I soldered it back to the motherboard, laptop turn on but it has no image, I assume the chip is dead.

I can´t upload bin files, but the file in hex editor looks like the image, that´s why the zip is so small

Its not a One Time Programmable chip (8K BIT OTP) , so choosing that will make no difference, other than adding extra code to the end of the file. Anyway, do you have another programmer you can try, a CH341A or something

no I don´t have another programmer right now, but I´ve found a different motherboard with the same SPI chip, it was read with no errors.

I managed to get it read after scrapping the center and pressing with the hot iron set at 300°C while reading (otherwise it gave me reading errors), flashed another chip and the laptop is back alive but has password, I tried using the method for the Surface 3 (with the excel decryptor), tried with the amidecrypt (didn´t find the AMITSEDecrypt folder) , tried the XOR method for Panasonic, but I couln´t unlock it, can someone help me pls?

lenovo flex 5 14ITL05 bios and motherboard fault
                        by claws77
my laptop is lenovo flex 5 14ITL05

recently my power supply for this laptop developed a fault.
which caused a short in my usb c port -- verified with a new charger.

rant: so, i went to the repair tech in my country, he asked for a huge repair cost when i decided to get it done someplace else this "great person" nicked my bios chip, asked me to be aware for repair scams lol.
I was stupid and unable to find the flaw at the moment. Another repair tech told me that my bios chip was stolen and an 8mb bios chip is in place of that. he told me that a 32...

                        ASUS TP500LA BIOS request/repair/merge?
                        by jbonavita
Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
                        Some issues
                        A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

                        Things I tried

1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...

[REQUEST] Dell G3 3579 BIOS Password & AMI Protected Range/BIOS Guard Unlock
                        by zenius
Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec2523nd - Dimm2 slot disabled after corrupt bios repair? Advice requested.
                        by Bloodhoundje
                        Hi everyone,

I have been doing hardware repair as a hobby for some years now and recently decided to learn about repairing laptops as a fun challenge.

I managed to get my hands on a "HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec2523nd" notebook that only shows a white power LED and doesnt respond to anything.

After initial testing I concluded the bios seems to be corrupted since all voltages are normal and there are no shorts. HP has a feature for a bios restore from USB with winkey+B for this model. This did not work.

I have desoldered the bios chip (GigaDevice...
