HP Elite x360 830 G10 2-in-1 bios unlock

Hello guys,

I have a question for you, I need to clear the bios administrator password (the password that you need enter when you try to access to rhe bios settings - F10 press key) I don´t have Bios POST password, i can turn on perfectly the computer and enter to windows because the PC don´t have POST Bios password, this PC only have configure Bios Administrator password to enter to the BIOS setup.

Then i need to clear this password, i think that this password it´s located in EC ROM chip but it am not sure 100%. In this way, i attached you the two files dump (EC ROM and BIOS CHIP files).

Can you help me to unlock this PC? And give me the correct steps to do the procedure??

I flash bios ic and ec rom mod that you send me and i solder again both chips in the motherboard and when i try to enter to the bios setup, the pc continue request me the bios administrator password. Nothing change with these files.

Can you help me?? Something is wrong.

No, i can not enter to bios setup in the first boot after flash dump mod files that you send me. When i press F10 key in the first boot continue display to enter bios administrator password again...

Can you send other files? Or tell me where i can delete the values where is located this password with HEX editor and in what ic, bios chip or ec rom?
I remenber that in elitebook g7 was located only in ec rom chip this password in line 37000.

With the G10 series things are not so simple, it will restore from EC.

write only main bios, leave EC as is. At 1st boot press F10 and restore factory defaults and restart. Before write new bios use BCU to get your laptop DMI and after write it use BCU again to write back DMI.

I've told you, use BCU (Bios Configuration Utility) - I am using V4.0 - to get DMI before writing modified bios and after writing new bios which put your laptop in mpm (manufacturing program mode) use BCU to write back DMI. If you don't know how to use BCU search in this forum, i've posted how to use it. You also have a label inside bottom cover with your DMI, you can write those values entering in bios setup and in Main tab you have "Write machine unique data"

Tested bios unlocked V70, main only flash it would boot to MPM.
you can use this in your HP Elite x360 830 13 inch G10 2-in-1 Notebook PC its already Clearme.

first boot press f10 apply factory defaults and restart, 2nd boot reset security settings to defaults and exit.
use BCU and put your original DMI.
