    Thinkpad P71 BIOS Type 20HK BIOS needed.

    Hey everyone.

    I've got a Lenovo Thinkpad P71 Type 20HK with a DP710 NM-B121 board Revision 3.0 that's bricked with no backup.

    Hoping someone can help with the original? Thank you.

    Do you have an SPI programmer, if so what model is it and the software version.

      Have a laptop that appears to have failed BIOS update and bricked itself. I was able to flash another P71 bios I found here and got it to boot, but I believe it's a different configuration and there is some bugginess.
      If anyone would be able to help it would be greatly appreciated !

          serial number : PF-10BM16
          I do have a ch341a programmer.
          file attached is the original pulled from the bricked P71.

                  post merged..next time look for a thread with the name and model, motherboard model,of the laptop and post there, if you can't find it, then make a new thread..

                  I did, but this thread is for bios backup, not for computrace removal. I thought it will be a thread hijack.
