Download the bios update,Innoextract and HxD Hex editor

        https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/m.../r01uj17ww.exe
        https://constexpr.org/innoextract/
        https://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/

Drag and drop the bios update onto the Innoextract exe ,it will extract the updates into a folder called app .

        Open $0AR0100.FL1 with HxD.

Select block 0 - 1E7 ( length 1E8) and click on the OK button.Delete the selected area with Edit -> Delete
or press the Del/Delete key on your keyboard.

Click image for larger version Name:	Capture.jpg Views:	1 Size:	126.6 KB ID:	3310821

        Next, select block 0 - 7FFFFF (length 800000) 800000 is 8MB.

Click image for larger version Name:	Capture2.jpg Views:	1 Size:	114.7 KB ID:	3310822

Right click or select Edit then Copy

Click image for larger version Name:	Capture3.jpg Views:	1 Size:	165.9 KB ID:	3310823

Choose New File, then select Paste Insert

Click image for larger version Name:	Capture4.jpg Views:	1 Size:	214.3 KB ID:	3310824

Choose Save, name it anything you want with a bin extension such as bios.bin

Click image for larger version Name:	Capture5.jpg Views:	1 Size:	105.0 KB ID:	3310825

The update has an EC file as well,if you want it the start offset is 800000 and enter the length as 20000 . 128KB = 20000
Copy to a new file and save.

Click image for larger version Name:	Capture6.jpg Views:	1 Size:	95.2 KB ID:	3310826

Your backup doesn`t have any DMI, its stored in the EC.It does however have a windows key.If you want to
copy that to the new bios select offsets 61D140 - 61D1DF in both, and copy/paste.

Click image for larger version Name:	Capture7.jpg Views:	1 Size:	153.9 KB ID:	3310827

[Problem/ Request] Bricked TongFang GK7MRFR BIOS
          by cr4zychriss
          Hello everyone,
I am requesting urgent assistance to unbrick my laptop, a rebranded TongFang GK7MRFR chassis. The laptop is completely dead following a faulty in-OS EC flash attempt.
I have successfully used a CH341A programmer and can read/write/verify both flash chips, but using my backups/extractions has failed to restore power. The root cause is likely a corrupted Intel Management Engine (ME) region or an incompatible EC/BIOS pairing. System & Hardware Details

Summary of BIOS Whitelist Removal Problem

          Problem:
I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
          Initial Findings:
          • My current BIOS version is N1KET58W (1.45).
          • I have a CH341A programmer and have successfully created two full backups of my BIOS.
          • I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.
          Troubleshooting Steps & Conclusions:
          • I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.
          • I concluded that the

          Dear Forum Readers!

I'm looking for a BIOS modder or anyone with experience who would give me suggestions about my razer blade's BIOS settings.
I can view and edit the content of the BIOS .bin file with AMIBCP BIOS editor.
The BIOS files I'm working with are from badcaps.net and those are CLEAN BIOS files (anyone can find it with the search string: RZ09-0421).

          ASUS TP500LA BIOS request/repair/merge?
          by jbonavita
Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
          Some issues
          A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

          Things I tried

1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...

[REQUEST] Dell G3 3579 BIOS Password & AMI Protected Range/BIOS Guard Unlock
          by zenius
Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...
