I do not know if you can change it but after I flashed the bios qayyum786 gave me, it asked me too enter my service tag on start up. I don't know what it did for sure.

Did you enter the Service tag yourself when you started the BIOS or did you edit the firmware and then flash it?

I flashed the bios I was given, after starting the laptop a prompt appeared asking me to enter my service tag, that's all I know at This point.
