    Lenovo Legion 5 15IAH7 - NM-E241 Rev 1.0 - BIOS fix needed

    Hello everyone,

My Legion 5 15IAH7 won't post. won't boot. No fans, no keyboard backlight.
Online power led and charging led lights up.

My guess is that there is some issue with the BIOS.

    It's the NM-E241 Rev 1.0 motherboard.

As I found out there are two BIOS dumps needed for this board.
    One 16MB and one 8MB.

I've got both uploaded. Can you maybe check and fix this BIOS files?

    Thanks a lot in advantage

    You MUST:
    • Read BIOS guides, methods, resources and tools
    • Try the method at BIOS guides, methods, resources and tools before requesting help
    • Explain you were not able to succeed with the methods at BIOS guides, methods, resources and tools
    • Use search function in case someone already answered your request
    • Post under a related thread if it exists
    • Provide the full machine model number, serial number (or Service tag, SNID) and the board model number (see https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=88758 ) ,The serial number, make, full model number, motherboard model and revision (except QR codes) must be written/typed at your request as per the rules. Not as a picture, part of the file name and so on.
    • Name your thread with make, full model numbers and request
    • Provide a BIOS/EC dump if possible
    • Attach files directly to your post instead of linking to external websites
    • Post what the problem is,be specific - Black screen,no boot,running slow,password.
Do NOT post "clean me","clear bios","clean bios","bios need" or other such terms

              Thanks a lot!
But unfortunately the error persists... only charging led and power led lights up.
No fans, nothing. Testet with and without main battery and with and without cmos battery.

But I feel that the heatsinks and the area where the battery is plugged in on the board are getting warm

                  Thanks a lot!!!!
I just wanted to try this version, but unfortunately while desoldering one leg is broken off of one chip...

Now I have to order a replacement (as a private person this seems really difficult... I don't want to order 2000 pieces at once )

As soon as I got the new chip, I'll try it again

                    Hi everyone,
I'm new here and could really use some help with combining BIOS files. I have a Lenovo Legion 5 15IAH7, serial number PF3Q0T3P. I'm attaching the .exe file I downloaded from the Lenovo site along with a backup of my old BIOS. I tried flashing a blank BIOS file, and while the laptop works, it's missing the original manufacturer details in the BIOS. If anyone could assist me with merging these files as soon as possible, I'd really appreciate it.
                    Thanks so much!

Your bios file is 24MB long, divided into 2 parts: 8 MB +16 MB.

Hi, I have a Lenovo Legion 5 Pro that is not booting. It original froze when booting into windows but now its just a black screen. The keyboard lights come on, fans spin for a second and it feels like the CPU and GPU both heat up but nothing on the screen or external monitor either.
Can someone please check my bios to see if there is something wrong with it? Thank you.
