    Hi guys,

I'm having a Probook 440 G7 with the infamous "endpoint security controller" message. Hope somebody can help. Flashing a clean BIOS alone does not help, the message remains so apparantly it needs to be patched like some other models.

    Details:
    Probook 440 G7
    Mobo model: DA0X8MMB6D0 rev: D
    Serial number: 5CD034LDWB

    The orignal dumps are attachted.

    Thanks!

Thanks Hoaca! Just flashed it, but unfortunately the annoying message remains I tested twice just to be sure. Also programmed back the DMI data if that would make any difference but it did not. Do you have another clue?

Hi, I have a problem with my HP EliteDesk 705 G5 Small Form Factor computer on amd . Standard corrupted bios probably corrupted during the update. I have uploaded a clean dump from the manufacturer's website with the latest version but when I turn it on a message appears :

              HP Endpoint Security Controller problem
there is a problem with the hp endpoint security controller on the unit

I tried restoring the bios security to factory defaults after the first switch-on because this helps with intel-based laptops. Here unfortunately this did not help. Does anyone have...

              ProdID 2K8L1LT#AC8
              Mother: DAX8QAMB8D0 REV D

The device had bootloop issues. I reprogrammed the EC BIOS and the main BIOS, extracted from an HP 440 G8 with the same motherboard, and I was able to start the device. However, every time I turn it on, I get the error 'There is a problem with the HP Endpoint Security Controller in the unit.' I tried disabling several security options in the BIOS, but the error still appears. Additionally, when I attempt to update the BIOS, both BIOS chips get corrupted again....

              by Voyager65
              Hi all,
I got a used HP and see this well known HP Endpoint Security Problem Screen. Someone seems to have removed the password and reflashed the bios with (maybe) a wrong serial etc.. I was able to read and write with my programmer a new bios onto it - same problem. I tried a downgrade, same.
I did password removal wir rcunlocker on several other machines without any problem. But this one is/was killed before. Appreciate any help.
