    Yes exactly, but the bin file everyone has is 32mb so don't i need a 32mb chip?

      The laptop froze during a bios update and after that always a black screen and lights and fans spinning.

              Badcaps won't let me attach the file I saved from the chip. It's only 2MB. When I try to open the file you guys attached here with my ch341A app it says file length too long and ignores.
              I guess CH341 doesn't support it? It only shows two WQ16 chips seemingly up to 16MB while mine is 32MB.

                  look for another chip on the motherboard, which has 32MB, try this.. if it doesn't work, try a similar chip from the database..

                      There's another winbond, bios looking chip, but google seems to say it's 256mb. Not finding.

                              I ordered and programmed a new chip and it is in the same vegetative state of lights, fans, no picture also externally. It was a good experience for me, but looks like it's beyond my diagnostic skills. Thanks for everyone's help
