hp 17-cd0075nf bios DMI

Hi,

the laptop started with no display, so I changed its bios with the correct BID (085FD), I tried with "CopyDMI" to to put the DMI, but the DMI didn't work, and when starting it marks " Manufacture Programming Mode Is In Unlock"

Can you give the correct DMI so that there are no more error messages please?

Use HP BCU to exit "Manufacture Programming Mode Is In Unlock Mode"

There's no need to search anything about how to use the program, there is a user manual link at the same page (with command line parameters and syntax).





About the DMI location, there's a different approach for every make and model, for example in your case searching for the serial number with the hex editor points the DMI area easily.

I understand, thank you very much for all the details. Is there a page on this forum that gives all the approaches to finding the DMI for all brands of laptop? I haven't found one, it would be very interesting to have one.
