    BIOS Request for HP Pavilion 15-bc009nm

    Model number: 15-bc009nm
    Serial number: 5CD64518KV
    Motherboard: DAG35AMB8E0 Rev:E

    Laptop had dead SR2C4 chipset, replaced it and now the charger is working and on start both fans start to spin, caps lock blinking 5x long and 3x fast, screen is black.
    U5 that was installed was 25Q16 and according to schematics it should be 25Q64, but i am not sure how that happened, i am not the first one diving into it.
    Tried some bins for some similar models but it did not work out, and for this specific model could not find any dump.
    I tried to etxract the bios from HP site, but was not able to do it ;(

    I tried to make an dump from EC - not sure if it is ok, but it should be, you can find it attached.

    I assume it's BIOS issue, cut could be hardware also, although i have all necessary voltages.

              Thanks, tried it in combination with the 0820D EC that you posted on another thread and it behaves the same, no video, fans spinning, and caps lock blinks 5x long 3x short.
              And this 0820D in combination with my EC backup starts the fans, no video but no blinking from caps lock.
              something is missing/wrong from hardware side possibly - maybe i should try to reflow chipset.

                      I have been doing hardware repair as a hobby for some years now and recently decided to learn about repairing laptops as a fun challenge.

                      I managed to get my hands on a "HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec2523nd" notebook that only shows a white power LED and doesnt respond to anything.

                      After initial testing I concluded the bios seems to be corrupted since all voltages are normal and there are no shorts. HP has a feature for a bios restore from USB with winkey+B for this model. This did not work.

                      Hello everyone,

                      I'm dealing with a classic BIOS corruption issue on an HP Pavilion 15-n058sr and hoping someone here might have the original BIOS file or point me in the right direction.

                      Symptoms:
                      • Laptop powers on but no display at all (completely black screen)
                      • Caps Lock blinks twice with a pause, then repeats continuously
                      • F12 LED stays on permanently
                      • No POST, no boot sequence, nothing on screen

                      ASUS TP500LA BIOS request/repair/merge?

                      Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
                      With original bios no POST, only LED lights
                      With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
                      Some issues
                      A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
                      B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized
