Hi, can I also use the bios reported by hoaca388 in post #4? Do I need to do any work after flashing the chips?
                  Thanks

It doesn't work, the caps lock led flashes 7 times, as it did before

I have no idea if this could be a problem, I noticed that the SN# code is 5CG10171C0 and not SN# 5CG10171CO, With the final zero and not with the O

                              Thanks

Hi, I tried to update the bios of u368 as suggested by alfredposadas09 in post 13, but without success. The Probook Aero 635 G7 doesn't start and flashes 7 times. I think the EC firmware is also corrupt. Anyone have any suggestions?

I suspect that the EC firmware is corrupt because the first bytes are set to 00 instead of FF as the ECs I see usually are. See post #12

just put back the original firmware and the laptop will start again

actually no, because with the old firmwares the HP Probook only rarely started and the few times it started it showed the controller problem. I'm thinking of a more drastic solution by changing bios and ec, but I don't know how to do it
