Is the chip that should be read/programmed?

Search the forum for NeoProgrammer , ASProgrammer , Colibri.

Thats one of them, there are 2 chips on the board, both are WSON8.I hope you aren`t going to try connecting a SOP8 clip ?

What clip should I use? How do I figure out the other chip?

Assuming you don`t have the tools to desolder the chips you can use a WSON8 pogo pin adapter, search the forum, its been mentioned many times. There are 2 different sizes so choose the right one.Alternatively solder some wires from the programmer adapter board to the solder thats opposite each pin, this method will be more reliable than using the pogo adapter.

I think the other WSON8 chip is on the other side of the board,somewhere..
