Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ARE05 strange BIOS behavior

it came with no display, power button blinking all the time. I did read bios and saw it has some strange bytes in Padding area, I thought is a bios bug so I wrote a new bios extracted from lenovo site. All was ok, after few days laptop came back with same symptoms, i did read again bios and noticed Padding area having again strange bytes. Maybe someone can help me understand why this is happening, what can cause this strange thing.thank you.

It's not a strange bytes, if you mean the data between (0-3000h) it's the DMI of this Lenovo Laptop, it will be empty in the Virgin BIOS so you will need to move it from the Original dump to the New one to keep the DMI save.

The code before that LDBG is probably Debug code ? ,not sure.

I really don't know what this code is, but I think it's used to arrange the DMI, because I can see it mentioned many times between the encrypted DMI.
I always copy the data from "LDBG" to the end of the DMI (no matter what length it was, 2000h, 3000h or 4000h) and it's always working fine.

I'm also wondering about the Windows Key because I can't see it in plain text for these Lenovo devices.

I think DMI is between 1000-2FFF - usually i search for "LENV" to find DMI data.

                Lenovo IdeaPad 330 15-AST 81D6 BIOS Recovery
                by jendkkd jeje
So a couple of years ago i got a bios update through Lenovo Vantage, so i installed it and bricked my whole BIOS, so i couldn't fix it so i put that ideapad in a box, 3 years later i found that one PC and want to recover it to switch from a 2014 hp laptop to this one.

I found a method to recover the BIOS of many lenovo laptops tha consists in pluging in a USB Flash with the BIOS files and power on the laptop with Fn + R keys pressed until fans go loud and start beeping loud, but nothing worked, so i think filename is wrong, i tried naming the bios file as 07WW.BIN, BIOS.BIN, BIOS.fd,...

Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 (serial number: MP2BFZEF) bios request
                by Wahaz
                Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....

Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 Desktop - Corrupt BIOS
                by grimacelord
                Hello there.

I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.

                History:

                1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.

I searched for this error online and discovered...

Lenovo IdeaPad U330p Read Bios than Bios Password Remove
                by Popel1083
                Hi,
I want to remove the Bios Password of my Lenovo IdeaPad U330p with the Lenovo autopatcher. I have the CH341A Black and I'm using NeoProgrammer. The Programmer has an LED that indecates when it reads or writes the Chip. When I try to Connect my Programmer to the Bios Chip (Winbond 25Q64FVSIQ) the LED lights up even though I didn't click on Detect botton in NeoProgrammer. If i click on Detect the LED still remains on and NeoProgrammer says "IC not responding".
