    HP ZBook 17 G3 LA-C391P BIOS Dump and EC Dump needed

    Hey,
    I need a full BIOS (2 chips, one 16MB (main) and one 8MB - marked UE3) dump.
    Someone tried to repair it, and the 8MB one is completely empty (all 0s).

    Laptop itself is dead, won't charge the battery, and power on light is on at all times, but seemingly bit dim.

    Or it is an EC issue, then I would need an EC dump also

      give more details... full name and model.. S/N, etc.. also post the 16 MB bios...

          Found some of the dumps, also the EC is Nuvoton NPCE586HA0MX and it looks like it is shorted.

                      I am still looking for that dumps... I now replaced the KBC chip, but the issue remained. There was a 2R2 resistor that looked it got hot at one point and read 24 ohms. I replaced it, and now the power LED turns off after 2 seconds, but there is still no reaction to the power button. Also battery is still not charging.

                      I am getting 5V, 3.3V and 1.0V that I could measure...

                          I'm trying to recover a Fujitsu Lifebook E5513 (most likely 2023 model) that was bricked during a BIOS update. The update was interrupted (probably due to power loss), and now the laptop is stuck in a boot loop showing "PBB rollback" / "SBB rollback" messages.
                          BIOS access (F2) and Boot Menu (F12) are no longer possible – the system instantly reboots after the rollback messages.

                          I have this laptop that does boot but it's on an older BIOS that has issues with Secure Boot, and I cannot use the normal Razer BIOS updater because for some reason the serial number is missing / got deleted somehow (Common issue on this model, from what I've read). I got a dump of the BIOS chip (or at least what I think is the BIOS chip), and its 16MB in size - the files from the Razer BIOS update are 8MB. (There's two 8MB files, am I supposed to combine these somehow? Or combine with an Intel ME firmware? I have no idea).
                          So, I'm looking for a BIOS dump for this machine - a 16MB one....

                          The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.

                          Suspected Cause:
                          I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.
