post the S/N, post the original content of the bios chip, the motherboard model, the full name and model of the laptop, etc.

The laptop serial number and full laptop model number should be on a sticker on the base cover. The motherboard model number will be silkscreened in white writing somewhere on the motherboard , maybe la-j202p or similar. The bios chip/chips are located somewhere on the motherboard, i don`t know where exactly. When you find the bios chip (possibly a GD25B256D WSON8) you will have to make a backup using an SPI programmer ( plus WSON8 pogo adapter if you can`t desolder the chip or solder wires) , then post that backup here .

The bios password cannot be decoded. The section that has the password will be edited out using a hex editor by one of our members. Then you program the file back to the chip.

Not every PC repair shop, some will say you need a new motherboard. Call some and ask if it`s something they can do.
