Greetings everyone. I'm working on this Asus motherboard and one of the cap shorted out. I guess it took along the Mosfet in the pic with it. I tried to google the Mosfet, but I couldn't find any details. Hope someone can help.

by kingis85Here i have asus rog flow, super powerfull and expensive tablet. The problem is that it only works with a battery. The owner had it plugged on and his dog wanted to put his teeth on the usb-c plug and well.....
So after that it is not charging with a new asus official charger. I opened and tried to find something burned with microscope but everything looks good. I did not found any short. I did see that it does not try to take any power with usb meter, so the 5v line must be open somewhere. This board is really hard to make any sense because i can not find any kind of data sheet or info....11-20-2023, 05:50 AM -
by madjid911HI, I discovered a mosfet in continuity, and grounded the motherboard. I would like to replace it to be able to repair the motherboard of my asus pc. I am not a big expert, can you tell me what is this mosfet?I can't find it on the internet.
Can you help me find the datasheet and maybe tell me which mosfet I can replace? I have macbook a1466 1708 1278 donor motherboards.

Hey guys,
i have a asus motherboard here and as the title says after the first mosfet (in the picture) there is nothing more than 3.15v.
I injected 19v and max. 1 amp at the charging port and there is not voltage drop or smth. It's just taking 19v and 1 milliamp.
Then i tried to inject 19v and max 1amp after the current sensor and there it first takes 19v and 4 milliamps and after 2 seconds it is taking nothing (no current).
I measured on the coils on board everything seems fine. Also the main power rail is not shorted (infinite resistance).
Now i thought something... -
by RickkapI have a ROG here which isn't charging and found 2 MOSFETS to be faulty with no schematics available only board view. I need help in finding a replacement (equivalent)
The markings are G4 GUB and under this it says 2Y2701. I've tried googling this but no joy.
Can anybody shed some light on where to get them from or an equivalent.
Thanks

by ScotchmistI have an Asus GA502D, it had a blown mosfet which I replaced and the laptop booted into windows, a few mins later it shut off, the same mosfet was blown. I thought maybe just a bad mosfet but same thing happened again, a few mins in windows and shuts off.
I have removed the mosfet and can run the laptop no problem
The MOSFET is FDPC5018SG
Can anyone point me in the direction of what could be the cause of this, could it be the controller rt3663bc?
