    Damaged SMC on corsair MP510 m.2 SSD

    hi,

    I have a corsair MP510 model CSSD-F480GBMP510B that has a bubbled IC that i can not identify. Originally the owner physcially tore a capacitor off it while taking it out of a computer and tried to power it on via a USB bridge. This obviously didn't work.

    I have since repaired the capacitor however i found a short on the first doide 'TPX' where the power rail starts. I replaced that thinking that was the problem but still didn't work. I flipped the board and identified another short of a capacitor that is linked to a 9 pin IC which has inscription 'UdbYC'. I am seeking assistance for other techs that may know what this is so i can replace it. I have purchased a donor device however it has a completely different PCB and setup.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

      Hello Guys

      I have a ASUS Rog strix laptop that I bought recently to fix and the previous owner spilled water on it . He brought it into a repair shop for them to check it out and instead of fixing it they damaged the battery connector of the laptop ! Other than that they damaged damaged nothing .       Identification of Component T5 on NEXIQ USB-Link 2 (damaged due to crushing)

      Hi everyone,
      I'm currently repairing a NEXIQ USB-Link 2 that was physically damaged due to crushing. After a thorough inspection, it appears that only one component is visibly damaged: the T5 component, located right next to the Mini-USB port.

      It's a 4-pin SMD component, with one pin at each corner, aligned front-to-back along the USB port axis. Unfortunately, it is broken, and there are no visible markings left on the part to identify it.

      Hello, I have an LG 50PA6500 Plasma TV, purchased new in 2012.
      Unfortunately plasma is not working at all after a power spike.

      Qucikly tested the PSU and voltages seems to be okay, when eveything is disconntected from the PSU I got:
      VS = 200-206 / actual = 205 V,
      VA = 55 / actual = 54.9 V,
      M5V = 5.2 / actual = 5.19 V,

      17 = 17.24 V,
      5.2 = 5.19 V,
      STDBY = 5.19 V,
      ERROR_DET = 4.8 V - does it mean PSU is damaged? the rest of the voltages seems to be fine.
      what's your opinion about the PSU?
