Dell inspiron 3593 Charging Fault

Dell inspiron 3593

Laptop Battery not charging.
Laptop work only battery power.
Adaptor connected ( 19v DC Jack) Motherboard main voltages ok but no display and not charging.
One time white led and 3 time orange led blinking continue.
Charged battery install after laptop power on and display ok.

What is the problem ?
How to fix it ?

Are you using the original and recommended power adapter for this laptop?

This is important as the logic board checks for a special ID that is extracted from the power adapter over a single wire communication for a valid match. If the adapter is not suitable or the ID check fails, this may be the result.

If ok, the 19v should power the logic board.

You may have defective DCin mosfets. This is a common fault. Link or post the schematic for this logic board. Have not checked my database for the same.

Remove all power. Check the resistance across the mosfet pins.

Post the measurements. Then repeat for the next DCin mosfet. Also share the charger IC markings near this mosfet area. Likely to be the "BQ" series from TI (not the rapper).

Found the schematics.

See attached.

Remove all power -> meter in resistance mode.

Check the resistance across the 2 x DCin mosfets as follows:

source (1-2-3) & drain (5-6-7-8) ; pick any pin from the group
source (1-2-3) & gate (4)
gate (4) & drain (5-6-7-8)

Post the measurements and the scale used on your meter.

Repeat for PQB11 and also PQB12.

Found the schematics.

Remove all power -> meter in resistance mode.

Check the resistance across the 2 x DCin mosfets as follows:

source (1-2-3) & drain (5-6-7-8) ; pick any pin from the group
source (1-2-3) & gate (4)
gate (4) & drain (5-6-7-8)

Post the measurements and the scale used on your meter.

Repeat for PQB11 and also PQB12.
