    Flickering Macbook Pro touch bar, possible to fix with only short flex?

    Just finished the tedious process of replacing A2251 touch bar as the original one is flashing and randomly crashes OS in sleep.

    Was wondering anyone ever fixed this by just changing the short flex that doesn't require the massive disassembly and touch bar removal? Part A in the attached pic. This part is 1 of 2 electronics block on the OLED display part of the touch bar.

          This post ( link ) tried the small cable and determined it was good. Failure was the long touch bar itself which requires difficult disassembly

              MacBook Pro 14" A2442 Short on PPBUS_AON but no short present when injecting voltage!

              I check PPBUS_AON and there is a short present on the line, the computer shows a short when testing for short to ground, so when I inject voltage into the line, I get 0AMPS so no short is showing up. I have replaced a blown cap on this board that exploded and tested for the short and it is now removed. Any suggestions? I tested voltage at the line when the fuses are connected and I am getting 1.2 Volts at the line.

              Hi i have one Macbook Air 2020 where touch ID is not working (it's not scanning fingerprints). Touch ID was working before, there is no error message during scanning fingerprint it's just not scanning on screen you can see only fingerprint but there are no red updates as when it's working.
