    Lenovo V360, no detect battery

    Hi friends!

It does not charge or detect the battery. At first it didn't start, I programmed the BIOS with the file that is in this forum and it turned on but it doesn't detect a battery. I need to try another bios that is not the one that is already published in the forum, I suspect that the one I recorded is corrupt, or incompatible in some detail and that is why it does not detect the battery. I did all the measurements on the charguer integrated circuit and they are all ok. I think the problem comes from the data BUS side. It is for this reason that I need a different bios file than the one published in the forum to test.

    Motherboard: HannStar LA36 MB 09939-1
    09939-1
    48.4JG01.011

    IC charguer : BQ24745

    EC: NPCE781EA0DX

    Bios version: 2DCN16WW
    EC version : 2DEC02WW

Unable to comment on the bios issues but for the battery pack - investigate the voltages on EACH pin on the battery connector.

Specifically, we are interested to confirm the SMBUS / I2C (SDA & SCL) lines are ok since they are used by the logic board to communicate with the BMS (battery management system). This will be a good start.

Since you already got an idea of where the fault might come from,i'll suggest you do that first or you can measure the SDA and SCL line with your oscilloscope or measure the bios chip pins with the oscilloscope.

Strange battery present behaviour in Lenovo Legion 5-15ARH05 mb model nm-d041
        by ferah831208
Hello guys, i need help with this problem, I have a NM-D041 mobo, it came with low impedance in 3v linear regulator rail, the cause was a damaged EC controller ITE8227e-192. I ordered a new one and replaced it. This laptop have a different chip for keyboard management and it8227e pins for programming ITE chips are not accesible through keyboard interface, I flashed it using i2c interface pins with vertyanov programmer because laptop was dead and SPI flash didn't have power (only 3v EC) so it couldn't access firmware stored in SPI memory. I read SPI and extracted it8227 firmware from original BIOS...

Dell E6400 PT434 type Battery Charging Stuck at 1%. Battery Pinouts?
        by Bowline
My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell...

Lenovo P43s won't boot with internal battery connected – looking for help diagnosing battery issue
        by code share
        Hi everyone,

I'm having an issue with my Lenovo ThinkPad P43s. The laptop does not power on when the internal battery is connected, but it works fine on AC power alone (battery disconnected). Once the battery is reconnected, the system becomes completely unresponsive — no lights, no fan spin, nothing.

Here's what I've tried so far:
        • Power/EC reset (held power button for 60 seconds with battery and AC disconnected)
        • Booted successfully on AC power only with the battery disconnected
        • Visual inspection of the battery — no swelling, burn marks, or connector damage
        • Battery

Lenovo Yoga C930-13IKB EYG70 NM-B741 Battery not detected.
        by mrkmpn
Hello, I have a customer that brought this laptop in after replacing his battery. He said his original battery charge was not lasting long, and after replacing the battery with one purchased from iFixit, the charging worked for about 30 minutes and then stopped, and the battery is no longer detected by windows.

This laptop powers on when the AC adapter is connected, and my USB-C multimeter shows current being used with both ports, but the charging light does not come on, and in Windows the battery icon shows an X as if there is no battery present. If I disconnect the AC adapter,...

Lenovo V310-15ISK - It doesn't work after changing the battery
        by pabloroggeri
Good guys. I changed the battery to a Lenovo V310-15ISK.

The laptop worked perfectly, I changed the L15C4A02 battery because it didn't last very long.
When I connected the new battery, the charging LED stopped lighting up and the one next to the charging pin also did not react when I pressed the power button. Minutes before changing the battery it worked perfectly and stopped working after putting the new one in. Even if you put the oroginal battery in or connect it without the battery, no LED lights up when you press the power button nor does it give an image, nor does the...
