Asus x450ep rev 2.0 touchpad synaptics not detect

hi friends, I hope someone can help me with this asus x450ep rev 2.0 mobo case, the problem is the touchpad doesn't work, I've tried with another asus touchpad, but still, I've never got this touchpad case, I'm confused where to measure from

See attached. Review the yellow arrows -> remove all power -> meter in resistance mode -> red meter lead on the yellow arrow head point; black meter lead to ground.

What is the resistance for the SCL & SDA pins used by the trackpad ?

Post the resistance measurements and scale on the meter used.

Next, multimeter in DC volts mode (5 volts or higher is ok).

Measure the voltage on the SCL & SDA pins to ground.

Post the voltage measurements for each pin.

both patterns display infinite values sir, in buzzer mode and the position of the red probe on gnd and the black probe on pin

I need to say that these pins are not filled with IC

and I've measured the volt parameter, the result on pin number 6 (DATA) when using the touchpad displays 0.70v, if not using the touchpad is 3.3v sir

The measurements were not taken correctly.

Configure the multimeter in DC volts mode (5 volts or higher scale is ok).

Red meter probe on the point to measure; black meter probe to ground.

Apply power to the logic board. We wish to know the voltage on the SDA and then the SCL lines to see if they are stuck or not.

If either of these lines is stuck, this could be the fault.

The mode you referenced is the diode mode testing.

            when using touchpad
            PIN 3 = 0.63V
            PIN 4 = 0.45V

and when touchpad is removed is 0v sir

These are not good voltage readings.

See attached. Locate RN3002 and measure the voltage on the RIGHT side of this resistor network.

Inside this resistor network are 2 * 4k7 resistors that are acting as pull-ups. The pull-up voltage must be 3v3 for each pin.

              Confirm the voltage readings.

The LEFT side are the same SCL & SDA pins used for the trackpad. These are the TP_DAT & TP_CLK lines.

Measure these as well and post all readings.

Sorry sir I just replied because yesterday I had to work

sorry but on this mobo there is no RN3002, are you not wrong to open boardview?

Can you post a picture of your logic board near the touchpad connector?

Then will see it matches my boardview file.

For the missing resistor network, do you see the pads?

Maybe share a pic of that area as well.

Can you confirm the following ?

The touch pad connector on the logic board and the mating cables have a polarity.

Remove the touch pad cable and flip it upside down (ie. 180 degrees) unless you are 100% sure the cable is inserted in the proper orientation.

the direction of the touchpad cable is correct, sir, that's it, I will order a touchpad that fits this type of mobo to make it easier, the touchpad is really not a problem

Review the ESD protection device that should be present on your logic board.

See attached. If you do see this part, proceed to check the resistance to GROUND.

                            Test as follows:

                            1) Remove all power.

                            2) Meter in resistance mode (start with the lowest scale). If you see '1' or 'OL' then use the next higher scale on your meter.

                            3) One meter probe to ground.

                            4) Other meter probe to DATA pin. You can use either probe - resistance does not have a polarity.

                            What is the reading ?

                            5) Repeat but use the meter probe on CLK and GROUND.

                            What is the reading ?

Do you have hot air gun & flux + tweezers ?

Update comment: Remain to test with the original touchpad unless you are 100% sure the replacement from the other Asus is the same model and compatible. Continue to test the communication lines because the voltages you have read are not correct for the I2C / SMBUS lines (CLK & DATA).

it's true that the touchpad doesn't matter, I've installed the new x450 touchpad, it still doesn't work sir,

and this is for the measurement in 20k . mode
                              Data Pins = 12k ohm
                              pin SDA = infinite

Yes sir, I have a hot air gun and flux so what steps should I take

And I tried to inject 3v voltage on the DATA pin with the MOSFET installed, the result is that the IC on the touchpad is very hot, on the original touchpad and the new touchpad it's the same

Can you confirm again if D3106 is on your logic board ?

Next, remove all power. Meter in resistance mode.

Check the resistance to ground for the following pins on the touchpad connector:

                                  Pin # 2 O_TP_SCLK
                                  Pin # 3 O_TP_SDA

                                  Pin # 5 O_TP_DATA
                                  Pin # 6 O_TP_CLK

After the resistance check -> meter in voltage mode -> check the voltage of the same pins.

Post the resistance and voltage checks. When checking resistance - NO POWER !!
