Samsung NP300E5E BIOS looping / power cycling

    Hello All,
I have a customer's Samsung NP300E5E S01CA notebook that is BIOS boot looping / power cycling after they attempted a BIOS update. I got this third hand but I believe this is how the problem occurred.
The splash screen comes up for about 1-2 seconds then power cycles this way continuously. I believe I'm going to need to reflash the BIOS to correct the problem. Would anyone have experienced this problem before?

    Board: BA41-02209A PIOTEK
    BIOS: P02RBD (original?)

If it doesnt detect a hdd, it will keep rebooting. So check whether its detecting HDD.

Thank you mcplslg, I reconnected the hard disk, and while the screen did stay up longer, it didn't solve the problem. Good to know though.

Thank you SMDFlea, The files on those links pointed to a different model and I had read about issues coming up in those cases. I was able to find a BIOS file, I believe on this board, that showed the correct model. I flashed it and it seems to be working OK now.

Thank you both for your help. I'll include the file I used in case it can help someone else. https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=105240
