    Lenovo B51-80 / LA-D101P - No Battery Power

    Hello everyone,
My Lenovo B51-80, which I forgot the battery on a long time ago, did not react at all when I tried to run it with the battery today. It works fine with the adapter. When I try a new battery it still doesn't respond.

I made the measurements of the battery/charger integrated. I'm very new to repair and I'm waiting for your help.
thank you all so much in advance.

You have to try with a new battery rest of the pin out supply ? Example pin 18 12 11

With only a known good battery (no adapter), measure the voltage of each pin of the BQ24780.

          Post the measurements.

Do this very carefully with patience and proceed only if you can take measurements without shorting to other pins.

After this, remove all power. Meter in resistance mode (2k scale).

Check the resistance of the battery mosfet:

          Source(1-2-3) and drain (5-6-7-8)
          Source (1-2-3) and gate (4)
          Gate (4) and drain (5-6-7-8)

Post the readings. You can locate the battery mosfet by tracing the BATDRV pin on the charger IC.
