Hi folks

Got dell with shorted sio chip ene kbc9022
Is this chip self programmable, meaning I can buy blank chip and solder, then on first boot it will program itself using data in bios chip

Or

Do I need to ask someone to program it? Since I don't have kbc programmer ? Also if this is the case, how one can get EC firmware for this laptop model ?
