    Any replacement for FDMD8800 ?

Hi. Have an A1708 in for repair that is not charging.

    1) Found that the battery mosfet will wake up the logic board ok and display the 'plug me in' icon to charge the box.

    2) upon plugging in the external type C charger, see 20v but still fails to charge the box.

    3) Removed the battery and using only the charger, PPBUS_G3H is 1v0 and depleting.

    4) Using resistance mode, pin 12 (gate) & pin 7-8-9-10 (drain) = 1.9 ohms on Q7030 (first mosfet). Appears to be shorted but will confirm when it is off the logic board.

We will replace it. Want to have more of these in stock. Anyone have any luck in subbing these parts (FDMD8800) ? Otherwise, will source from Aliexpress.

ASUS X54H laptop thinks it's always charging even with charger unplugged
    by flat-earther
The charging indicator light on my ASUS X54H laptop is always on even when the charger is disconnected.

Windows also shows ''Plugged in'' when charger is not connected.

This problem started year ago gradually, when unplugging the charger the charging light took several seconds to disappear, then minutes, and now almost always on even when unplugged for an entire day.
Strangely, before sometimes immediately when plugging in the charger the charging light went away, and later came back with it connected.

i have a 2020 macbook pro 13" A2251 with 820-09149 logic board so i found an issue with chip labeled U6903 according to schem. boardview using flexBV software, so i removed it from the board and the issue im having is that the chip says "07A08FI ELC180" on top of it but when searching for a replacement chip, i can find tons of identical looking chips that also have "ELC180" printed on them but the first set of digits is never the same so im trying to find out if i need this exact chip with these same numbers as mine and if not which ones are compatible as a replacement?...

Thinkpad E15 NM-C421 charger not detected after port replacement
    by danandrei96
    Hi all!
Usually I like to think my diagnostic skills are quite good but this one has me a bit stumped.

Laptop came in with a damaged very loose USB-C port.
I ordered the correct port and replaced it, all good so far. Now when I plug in the usb-c charger there's a solid connection, I can see that the charger voltage jumps up to 20V, and if I press the power button the laptop turns on.

Unfortunately, the charger LED stays off at all times and in Windows the laptop doesn't detect that it's plugged in, despite running off the charger even with the battery...

ISL88739AHRZ ISL88739 Laptop Battery Charger Datasheet
    by Document Archive
The ISL88739 & ISL88739AHRZ are a highly versatile combo battery charger
configurable for operating as either a Hybrid Power Boost (HPB)
charger or a Narrow VDC (NVDC) charger, supporting 2-, 3-, or
4-cell batteries. Both configurations allow the battery to work with
the adapter together to supply the system load when it exceeds
the adapter capability, referred to as system Turbo mode. HPB
charger configuration reverse-boosts battery energy to the system
bus to help the adapter provide the system power in Turbo mode.
    NVDC charger configuration...
