Display needs to be connected.
Remove all power.
Check the resistance to ground of PPVOUT_S0_LCDBKLT (red meter probe) & black meter probe to ground. Checking for a low resistance which can cause this rail to be pulled down OR even shut off due to an excessive load (current draw).Comment

Yes.
Connect the display but do not power up.
Meter in resistance mode. Check the resistance to ground on PPVOUT_S0_LCDBKLT.
Is it very low in resistance? If yes, then this needs to be fixed.
If resistance reading is high then proceed to power on and check if the voltage of PPVOUT_S0_LCDBKLT is high enough to light up the LEDs in the display.
Voltage of PPVOUT_S0_LCDBKLT ?
If low voltage on PPVOUT_S0_LCDBKLT then check if the backlight IC is being ENABLED.
Voltage of the backlight enable pin?

Post the voltages for:
1) R8444 & R8445, pin # 2. This will confirm that U8400 is being powered.
These are the VDD Digital & VDD Analog, respectively, power rails.
2) R8442, pin #2 = Enable pin voltage for U8400.
3) Q8400 mosfet - see attached. Need the voltages on:
pin 4
pin 3
pin 1-2-5-6 (measure any of these pins)
The voltage @ pin 4 should be the same as the voltage on fuse F8400, pin 1 (unless fuse 8400 is blown due to an excessive current draw).Attached FilesLast edited by mon2; 02-05-2022, 06:48 PM.Comment

I have problem with Macbook Pro 15" 2017, model 2017, MB code 820-00928.
I bought it as broken with some artefacts on the screen, first I thought that this is problem with ribbon cable but after inspectiing ribbon cable I know it is fine. I tried to reinstall macOs and then I figured out that this must be something with GPU as installation freezes at the end (when drivers are loaded). I installed Windows and was able to install every each of drivers except GPU driver, as soon as I tried to install GPU driver - black screen and restart.

This is my first post so I will try to be as precise as possible without making this post too long winded. Unfortunately I don't have pictures of the original problem but I included images of the TV internals.
I have a Sharp 70LE660U. The problem started a few months ago with the bottom row looking out of sync and was dark on the left side and then fading to transparent on the right side. Shortly after, a dark cloud appeared in the center of the screen. The dark cloud started small and shaded but the image was visible. It also affected the menu area.... -
Hello everybody!
To put you in context I recently replaced the battery from my HP Pavilion 15 bc400ns with a used one, everything was going good. The same day, I decided to update the BIOS, everything went good. The thing occurred after I let the battery drain iddling on Windows 11 for the second time to calibrate it that the screen did not turn on again, the computer was on but the screen did not turn, like it would not wake from hibernation. I decided to restart the computer but got no video.
The thing is that I had installed TeamViewer and could log into the computer... -
Perhaps someone knows the problem with the NEC Spectraview display.
When switching on, the green LED lights up briefly and then changes to red and flashes four times, pauses briefly and repeats until the power button is pressed. The screen remains off.
The laptop is connected via Displayport and the screen is also displayed in the graphics properties.
Any ideas?

Hi,
I have a MacBook Pro 15 A1707, board number 820-00928a,
It's have an issue with the audio, In settings it has no audio output device,
I've tried to plug headphones and it didn't recognized it.
I have a schema for the board but it's hard for me to read it. I have some practice and I can solder skills, but it's hard for me to do some troubleshooting, but I know how to use multimeter, just please tell me in what mode need to fest the component [ diode mode, continuity, ohms mode, etc.. J
