samsung board ba41-01724A NY or NIKE15-QC/BBY

    Hi to everybody
I Have a samsung laptop. When it turns on, two seconds latter it turns off and it take 1amp consumition. I will show you an schematich from this board and I'll show you the point where I do my test:

    I inject 5V / 2A IC U30 consumes 260mA and it heats up.
Do you think it is the dead IC or some other component that short circuits the IC?

    Thank you

Friend do not inject voltage without being sure, that model of motherboard has no schematic or boardview, most likely you have a wrong one.
The measurements you should do without schematic basically are:
Check that the board is powered which is usually (19v~20v) this is checked on the current sense resistor, which is almost always after 2 mosfet where the board is energized.
Check the "ALW" sources which are one of 3v and 5v which are usually one very close to the other, these without schematics you have to look for it by testing all the sources of the board.
If you have that correct, go to the EC/BKC and on the side capacitors measure if they have 3.3v, this to know if it is powered.
If that is also ok, go to measure the bios that has power.
If you do not find any voltage of those mentioned, just there you can inject voltage having identified the line and that voltage handles.
