    Lenovo Z50-70 problem with chgarging

    Dear friends,

I have a problem with MB NM-A271 from Lenovo Z50-70, which can't charge.

There are measured values on IC BQ737 on attached picture, I think there is no problem, but please check it with me. KBC changed for the new one, BIOS and EC flashed, BQ 737 changed as well to be sure, but still not charging at all and charging LED doesn't light up. EC_SMB_CA1 and EC_SMB_DA1 checked on battery and on KBC with osciloscope. Battery changed.

    Any advice what to check?

    Many thanks.

1,89V on Highdrv, Lowdrv and Phase Looks Like These three Pins are shorted together (Mosfets or IC). Did you checked that?

The PU301 should be 19v on 20 pins and 3v on 5 pins. Check the PQ301, PQ302 and PQ303 mosfet. and check the DC_IN ADPTER_IN entry.

                Pin 20 VCC 19V
Pin 5 ACOK 0V is OK for BQ737
PQ301, PQ302 and PQ303 were changed for sure but with the same result

                  Lenovo E15 Gen 2 GE4B0 GE5B0 NM-D011 Rev 1.0 sometimes not opening problem
                  by s_specialist
Recently, I have started to encounter a problem with Lenovo E15 Gen 2 models not opening. When you try to open the device, it gives a warning sound and does not display an image, when you apply light pressure on the keyboard, the image appears and works for a while, when you turn it off and on, the same thing happens again. Bios was tried, RAM slots were cleaned and soldered to the legs, the problem still persists. There seems to be a problem with the onboard processors, but since Lenovos glue the processor firmly from the sides, the paths are very damaged when removing it. Has anyone encountered...

                  Lenovo T580 - LCD Panel problem - error 0288
                  by perzyk23
                  Good morning,
I have a problem with Lenovo T580, which after error code 0288 suggests a problem with the display. I checked the display and it works on another laptop. I replaced the display cable with a new one. I programmed another BIOS (downloaded from this forum) and I still have the problem of a dead display - there is an image via HDMI, and the system does not detect the built-in LCD at all. The problem appears to be hardware. What can I check to confirm or disprove this? I found many threads on the Internet related to this problem 0288, but without specific solutions. Please advise....

Hi, my laptop suddenly shut down while it was running. When I try to turn it back on, the screen stays black and it emits a melodic beep.

I used Lenovo's SmartBeep decoder and it returned error 0284:
"TCG-compliant functionality-related error (possibly BIOS code validation failure)"

I then tried to enter crisis BIOS recovery mode by pressing Fn + R at boot. The melodic error code changes, but nothing else happens regardless of whether a USB is inserted. I receive another...

Hello, I have a problem with this computer.
After connecting the power supply, the keyboard lights up and the touch bar works, you can click on it and it even illuminates the keyboard. When the fan is turned on, it turns on and off. the processor heats up. I have tried different bios but with no success, the same signs. It doesn't charge the battery either. when starting, it takes 20v and about 0.650a, after some time it drops to 0.350a and 5.2w. Has anyone solved the problem with this model?
Will it be a RAM or CPU problem?
