Does anyone know of an alternative to RT8231BGQW? Also, is there a good strategy to find close alternates? I've tried searching by the description from the datasheet ("Complete DDR Memory Power Supply Controller"). Thank you!

I'm asking this for a friend, he has a backup battery, a quite large unit, that does not
work as intended. Even the service techican was not able to solve all problems so far.
My friend tried to log the SPI bus, but there is a lot of communication going on.
Without any meaningful description on the Ic's internal registers he's quite lost.
The datasheet that's avalible for download form Analog Devices is only 2 pages and contains
nothing more than a block diagram and a coarse description of the operation.

Hi, Recently my Samsung 4K QE55Q60AAUXXH just suddenly stopped working_ there is no any sign of life - no red light or anything..and think, after diagnostic, it is diode DM863c SF28e PK33 siyu or one of these four. A friend of mine gave me an iPod nano G3 to see if I can fix it for him.
The device had a faulty battery and he tried to replace it but failed. In the process he managed to pull off the pads that corresponds to the white battery wire (marked with a red circle in the images)....from both sides of the PCB. Fortunetely he didn't damage anything else.
This is usually an easy fix HOWEVER, on the PCB, I see no traces coming from the VIA and after searching the internet, I've found no schematics nor boardview for this device. With the pads gone from both sides I seem... -

, finally I found which component result damanged, before buy a new one to be honest I prefer to check if exist an alternative component this why isn't very cheap and here i italy isn't commecialized.

I checked this one FGH40N60SMD, but I don't know if could be good or not, some one could help me to find a good alternative?
