Re: How to solve this IP of the lpatop is detected?
It could be a fake scam message. Does this message happen at boot ? ,can you get into the bios, does the message only pop up when using the browser .Comment

Re: How to solve this IP of the lpatop is detected?
it's a scam,
as someone who has extracted and looked at the rootkit known as "computrace" i can tell you it does not post messages to the user.
if it's in the bios - you will need a utility to examine UEFI modules/appsComment

Re: How to solve this IP of the lpatop is detected?
I also have the exact same message. However, it has DeviceFreeze-4309 on top-left corner. How to fix it? the laptop BIOS is already unlocked. Is it because of Absolute Persistence Module (computrace) on BIOS? Or really is a scam message?Comment

HP Elitebook 840 G6
(840 G6 model) Is this a virus malware? How can I remove this? I searched for the number on Google and it shows that it is not legit (probably a virus). I just bought this laptop last week, and everytime I connect it to the internet, this error pops up. Another thing that I found is Computrace or Absolute Persistence Module but I'm not sure what the problem is. The BIOS was unlocked yesterday, but the problem still persist.Comment

Re: How to solve this IP of the lpatop is detected?
I have only seen this kind of message related to computrace, but if that thing still exist after bios reflash and a whole wipe. that could be either a genuine computrace, or a scam. Once activated, the computrace bios element is designed to be un-disableable with bios reflash or user interaction.Comptruce should be visible in the bios when it is equiped with computrace in some sense, other than that I gues it would not be computrace. rpc will be active in the process or services at the same time .

by mecha1166About 2 times a year, a customer will do this. We fix the tv, put it on test play, and customer sees it working. They see me pull power and video wire. Sometimes I pick up tv, right in front of them, and carry it out to their vehicle while they are next to me. I set it in their tv gently, and tell them the tv is very fragile, be careful with it. I let them close the door/trunk. That day, or a few days later, they tell me there is a crack inside the tv. Normally I tell them transportation is their responsibility and normally that is the end of it. Has anyone had a customer that was not buying this...

by Nikan.eGreetings and Salutations!
I have encountered a faulty GPU — an Inno3D RTX 2070 Twin. There was a shorted MOSFET on the Vcore rail.
The faulty DrMOS was removed, and the burned PCB area was milled away.
All voltages are now good, but the GPU is not being detected.
I found that the CS pin of the BIOS (GPU) is not being pulled low, and thus, the GPU isn't detected.
I wanted to measure the SM_Data and SM_Clock, but to my surprise, there is no connection at all.
I thought these pins were used for communication during startup?!?
