    macbook pro a1502 2015 820-4924-A
    hello to all, I have a problem with this motherboard, don't start, shorts on p5v3_en p3v3s5_ll p3v3s5_csn2 pp3v3_s5, I remove the u8050 because it is heated but no result, I also remove q7560 and u7501 but no result always the shorts, I don't know where the problem comes from the motherboard is not oxidized

      What's the resistance to ground? Did you try injecting 1V to see if a component heats up (like PCH)?

          hi, the last time I injected fickle sound to screw up the processor so I prefer not to do it,

              the short comes from PP3V3_S5, do you know what component creates pp3v3_s5 please? thank you

                  Hello,

                  My macbook pro froze, and now I get the folder with question mark symbol. In the recovery mode the SSD can't be found in the disk utils. I then used a Linux USB stick to try to mount the SSD and it wasn't present in `lsblk` . Which led me to the conclusion that the SSD itself is broken. I then gave it to apple support and they say that the SSD is dead and wanted to replace it for around 400€. I declined this "repair".

                  Then I bought a new SSD from amazon for 70€, however also this one doesn't work and can't be found in disk utils in the recovery...

                  Hi all. I hope someone has come across something similar, as I am baffled.

                  I have a faulty logic board from a 2015 A1502 Macbook Pro Retina (820-4924-A). Some signs of liquid, but all corrosion cleaned, and several components refloated or replaced to eliminate any visually corroded areas of the board.

                  Machine boots fine now, but the keyboard and trackpad do not work at all when booting normally into Catalina, Big Sur, or Monterey. At the login screen, the cursor does not move at all when moving on the trackpad, and no keys on the keyboard respond on screen, however...

                  I have read many forums that state the Macbook Pro 2015 needs / does not need a battery to boot. I'm not convinced as yet which is correct.
                  The Macbook Pro mid 2015 I have has no battery and do not really want to buy one just to test.
                  This model has the newer trackpad which is not clickable when turned off.
                  At the moment, without battery it does turn on with no display (with backlight), no chime and then turns off after 13 seconds. I see this from the power draw on my DTPS.
                  If I hold the power button whilst connecting the magsafe 2 charger it turns on, again no image but...
