the notebook didn't turn on when it first arrived. whenever I plug it into the adapter, the adapter was short circuited. after I checked the CPU Power Unit and saw the IRF6721(PU4313). was burnt. i changed it. after the shord circuid gone there was no display on the screen. i check again. and i see warming up cpu controller NCP6131(PU4201). now the PC works normal but there is a problem with display. When I try to restart from OS, it stucks on black screen, nothing happens, nothing shows up. It opens fine when I close and reopen normally. But when I install the Intel Graphics Driver in Windows, it stucks on black screen on windows startup. I tried to install Windows 7 and 10. Same problem. Any Ideas?

by VcemPzdHello everyone !
My name is Chris, I am a 30 years old embedded software developer working in the automotive industry. I am really passionate about learning new skills and repairing/crafting stuff. I came around this forum last week with the goal of repairing my faulty gaming laptop, indeed, I was video editing on it when suddenly a black screen popped and never disappeared
I bought some stuff to try to repair it and learn as many things as possible about computer repairs but nothing worked so far. When the black screen appeared, my legion 5 pro was connected to my external monitor...

Hello,
YouTube video of the problem encountered: https://youtube.com/shorts/q7TLNv36LUo
I am a pro and I have a problem that I have never seen despite my 7.5 years of experience on my own and my thousands of repairs, on a customer's Dell G3 15 3500.
On this PC I have already changed the complete palmrest because the keyboard was no longer working properly.
I also changed the screen because the PC fell and the screen was broken.
I changed the battery with a new and original battery.
I also had corrosion/oxidation on the... -

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....-

by master3112Hello everyone,
I have a Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15ALC05 NM-D701. When I press the power button, the fan comes on, the power button flashes but the screen remains black. The device has a current consumption of 0.7A. I only have a BoardWiever for the device and no schematic. I have already tried to rewrite the BIOS, but the behavior is the same.
I have checked all voltages and everything fits:
PU1901 LV5028RPC - works
PL6202 -5.08V
PL6201 - 3.32V
PL300 - 0.77V
PL2101- 1.8V
PL1901 - 0.77V
PL1902 - 1.8V
PL1903 - 1.21V
PL5601 - 1.10V... - Loading...
