A1466 MacBook Air

I get orange light but will not turn on when battery is connected, only when battery is disconnected it will turn on. Is it the SMC? If so or not how do i test for a SMC failure? Any diode mode readings to look for?

Did you try another battery?
Voltage on PPBUS_G3H and PP3V42_G3H with and without battery?
