iMac Late 2013 27" No Backlight

Got an iMac Late 2013 27" model that has no backlight. Screen has no physical damage, and it does display a faint image but backlight is not activating. External display works fine. Logic board shows no signs of mistreatment either. Does anyone have a boardview / schematic for this model or know what I can test to determine whether it's the LCD itself or the logic board? Sadly, I don't have a spare screen for this model.

Logic board part number is 820-3478-A (APN: 661-7516).

There are some fuses on backpanel of the LCD. You check it first. If you found any fuse has blown, first you have to check both terminal of the fuse for short to ground. thereafter you can replace it.

Hello, I have an iMAc 27 inch late 2013 EMC 2639 at work that doesn't start, it has a prohibited symbol and/or when I connect the system via USB it stops on the apple.
Is this feature locked in the bios?

Hi, i have this iMac issue
I've checked temperature by using macfans with no results
techtool pro shows me AMBIENT AIR TEMP FAULT
i'm going crazy, the mac runs very slowly
where i can find this sensor on motherboard?

Hello i have an iMac late 2013, after GPU reflow, the fans are loud and iMac is working very slowly, i try to reflow smc too , and same problem. Anybody have an ideea or a resolution.
I try apple diagnostics and error from SMC PFM006.

iMAC A1418 Backlight issue

Hello friends,

I have this unit with no backlight on screen. After inspection i determined there is a shorted capacitor on BKL_BOOST circuit. I removed the capacitor, short is gone but backlight still not working. I found that Q9702 is not open and R9721 is only around 70kOhms but according to schematics it should be 301k. I removed the resistor and connected the gate of Q9702 directly to GND. Now i have 12v passing by the mosfet to turn on backlight IC LP8561 (U9700) but BKL_BOOST circuit is not working. I can measure only 12V there but it should be around 60V.

Apple iMac A1418 Late 2013 - Fan run at max.

Hi there

An iMac A1418 late 2013 (but same problem on an A1419 too).

It works but very slow. Fan start to run after few second you turn on the iMac.

I've spoke with a friend in Apple, and he tell me about a sensor defective, but they usually replace the motherboard to fix the problem.

This iMac have no sensor (only one on the display), so I presume he means about a sensor on the motherboard.

Anyone have same problem? any idea about to solve?
