    Keyboard / Trackpad not working in Mac OS, but works on boot screen

    Have an issue with Macbook Air 13 820-000165 (Mid 2013). Both trackpad and keyboard work fine on the boot screen.
    Tried clean re-install (Yosemite and El. Capitan) - no difference. Actually even during installation, input works fine on the boot screen, but as soon as Mac OS setup loads, both keyboard and trackpad stop working.



    SMC and PRAM resets didn't help.

      I have fix the problem with change the track pad(some ic its heating in tack pad) . keyboard and track pad and usb 3 its working now.

          Wow it's been a while since I posted!

          This is a weird case, it has a history of liquid spill a year ago but customer did not want to replace neither trackpad or keyboard.. fast forward for today:

          A2681 turns on but not trackpad or keyboard feedback (or external keyboard and mouse) and then after a minute or so the Mac sleeps..

          It's a NOT a sleep sensor or trackpad or keyboard or daughterboard or anything else (I replaced all those); it's the logic board..

          Tested another locked logic board on customer's top case and it posted with keyboard and...

          Hi All.

          I have a A3113 MacBook Air 13" (M3) that had minor liquid damage. The screen remains on if the lid is closed, the keyboard doesn't work, but trackpad and Touch ID does.​
          The LAS was corroded, but I have tested it on an A2681 (M2) and it functions fine. Anyway, I ordered a new one and replaced it and calibrated it with Apple.

          I have checked the main voltages going to the daughterboard and they are present. Diode mode reading on the LAS line which goes direct to the SoC is also correct, no short.

          So then I replaced the daughterboard, and...

          Hi! I have this 2015 A1398 with 820-00426 board that's driving me crazy. It originally came because of charging problems (MagSafe Board roasted, also MagSafe cable, etc. After disassembly, clean and assembly, my assistant (literally) broke FL803 and other componentes. Obviously, no screen or backlight. After replacing them, and also the LVDS connector, and LVDS flex on the screen, the board started fine, charges, chimes, shows Apple Logo, but surprise: no more trackpad or keyboard.

          Important notes:
          -Click works, so, trackpad is alive.
          -Already tried with another trackpad,...

          Hi! This Mac has been an headscratcher for me, I can't seem to figure out the issue. The Macbook has gotten water damage to the front of the keyboard connector and battery connector. The keyboard connector was dead, by which I mean it was completely corroded and I have replaced it with a brand new one.
          I have verified all the pins are connected to the main board and the main voltages (PP1V8_AONSW_KBD_ISNS and PP3V3_AON_KBD_CONN) are both present, with and without keyboard attached.

          Unfortunately, the keyboard does NOT want to work, caps lock LED not functioning as well as any...
