    Dell 5520 problem

    Hi !

    I have problem with Dell 5520 15" laptop.
    Laptop has this motherboard ... https://cdn.badcaps-static.com/pdfs/...a856347d78.pdf
    When i try to turn it on it spins fan for 3-4 seconds, power led goes on, 3 leds above keyboard (upper right corner) are lit in some sequence and after that fan stops and power led remains on. Screen is black. I tried to connect monitor on VGA port but there is no image. I tried to power it on with battery and charger in a any combination. Result is allways same.
    To power it on i have to short pins 3 and 4 on JPWR connector because it also has some problem with power button board or cable.
    Anybody has idea what to check first in case like this.

      which voltage rails are missing?

          Dam'n thing ... while i was measuring voltages it suddenly turned on and now it's working but i believe that it will die again, because i didn't do anything. It must be some bad conection on motherboard or ???

              Hi everyone,

              I am dealing with the problem of turning on and off my Dell e7470 notebook.

              The battery charge light is solid white, I press the button, the power indicator and the light on the button are solid for 1-2 seconds and immediately turn off.

              The system does not turn on, there is no post.

              I removed the RAMs and changed them, changed the battery, RTC battery, AC adapter, removed them and waited, tried again, it does not turn on.
              The problem continues in the same way.
              I tried to turn on the Fn key, nothing came to the screen....

              Hi everyone,
              I have a problem with this dell mini desktop, no LED lights up and there is no response from the front power button. It literally feels defunct, with no feedback whatsoever.

              IPCML-CT motherboard rev.A00
              CPU: Intel Celeron G5900T

              I tested the power supply (19.5v correctly) but to be careful I also used an alternative power supply to test, nothing. No LEDs, no power on.

              I tested the power button pins and they correctly measure 3.3V, so when I press the button or put a bridge with a wire, the pulse seems to be there correctly.

              Hi guys,

              This is my first post! 🚀
              I have no idea what I’m doing, but I’m learning by trial and error.

              I’m currently working on a Dell Optiplex AIO 7490—one of a bunch of AIOs that mysteriously failed to POST just a few days after the warranty expired. The original issue was that the PC worked fine until it was rebooted, after which it got stuck on a black screen (no backlight), with fans spinning at normal speed and a solid white power LED. Forcing it off by holding the power button would just cause it to switch on automatically and get stuck again on...

              hey guys, hoping for some pointers to repair an eBay bought "faulty" laptop.

              Ill try and give as much info as I can.

              Dell Inspiron 17 (7786) Laptop
              Service Tag: 5J0NHT2
              Bios: 1.9.0

              When I received this , it would only flicker on the KB backlight for a second, then off and on.
              Then it started getting weirder!
              Sometimes when attaching the AC power supply, and pressing various pre-boot diagnostic keyboard keys... it did try to boot, in fact out of a hundred attempts, the laptop did actually boot into the Bios ! but never has...

              I have an LG Plasma TV 60PM6700 for the past ~12 years.

              In the last ~3-4 months I have been having some issues.
              1. Problem: It started with random picture disappearing (sound still worked).
                Frequency: Happened about once a week.
                Solution: Had to turn off TV wait a few seconds before turning it on again.
              2. Problem: Then it got worse and the TV started to shut down and when turning on the no picture just sound.
                Frequency: Happened about once a week.
                Solution: Had to turn off TV wait about 10-20 seconds and turn it on again to solve.
              3. Problem: TV shuts down
