    Dell N5110 3 Beeps

Hello, I have a Dell N5110 Intel version with Nvidia graphics and when it starts I get 3 beeps. Board model 48.4IE07.011. I started by changing RAM and CPU, nothing changed.
Then I tried to reprogram bios with a downloaded dump, again the same. Next try, I changed the IO chip, the same.
Last thing I did I open schematic and boardview and check all the voltages from the power sequence page, and they are all present.
Anything else I can try before I give up on the machine?

      there is no display...
      the fan spins...
      all the voltages are present...
I followed all the power rails from the schematic and check every one.... all correct.

Try converting the mb to UMA so that you can rule out nvidea graphics issue.

the customer doesn't want to pay so I can do all that job converting it to uma. So I'll give it back unfixed and all done.

It would have taken 5 mins to convert it to uma. Anyway, its your customer and your choice.

it's not five minutes... I searched through internet and to convert the N5110 to UMA there are a lot of components to be removed (together with the BGA)

John bro, you are mistaken or you have given wrong model. as long as it is DEll Inspiron N5110 -it will take less then 5 mins with no bga work involved. However, if it is N5010-then there is lot of things to modify. If you still have the laptop-i can give you the knowhow for N5110 Conversion from dis to uma.

No need to remove bga(thats optional if you want to reduce power consumption). Just need to do the following:

                    01. Remove PU9303(vga power)
                    02. Remove GFX Coil.
                    03. Shift R2011-2013(located near HM chipset)

                    100% Working solution.

Dell E6400 PT434 type Battery Charging Stuck at 1%. Battery Pinouts?

My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell...

                                  Hello,

I've purchased 2nd hand Dell Latitude E7470 i7-6600U and it works fine, except ... there are no TPM or TXT/Trusted Execution settings in the BIOS/Firmware. However, looking at the schematics I found the chip handling TPM (NPCT650JA0YX) soldered to the system board. Also, looking at the service tag and the product specifications, this device comes with TPM (and vPro) support (I know that devices sold in China, Russia are not allowed to ship with TPM but this should be reflected in the service tag). I can also login to MBex to configure, etc.

                                  In the produce specs...
