I have a programmer and most of the laptops that come my way are already dead, so i have to take them apart to begin with. Can't help with the software-only solution.
    Thanks anyway!

I've already asked them how to do it via software, I hope they could help me!

Re: Asus with X555LD mb shutdown randomly

The answer is to try to run MEInfo and MEManuf tools to check firmware's health, like wrote here: https://winraid.level1techs.com/t/in...ols-2-15/30719- They also told me that clear me is very hard unless using a hardware SPI (that I don't have).

      I hope it works!

what is a "hardware SPI"? Do you mean a hardware SPI programmer?
If so, you must have it.

Yes, I mean a SPI programmer. Now I'll check first me using those tools!
