Re: Corsair GS800 fan spinning only on boot
Yes, fan can easily moves if I spin it by the hand, that's why I supposed there's something "wrong" in the automatic fan spinning circuit.
I could do the modify you suggested. I'll write here when I'll realize it!
Thanks!...

Re: Corsair GS800 fan spinning only on boot
Corsair says that this GS series (but I believe some other PSUs, too) work in this way: fan starts to spin when there is a load of almost 250w.
The strange thing is that mine would like to spin I think even in "normal" use (not in game or during benchmarks), but the fan has a sort of "faulty start" with a buzzy noise. When the load increases, fan starts. That's why I'm not sure if my PSU works correctly or not!...

Re: Sony Bravia KDL-40Z4500 hdmi not working anymore
I don't remember if Xbox 360 was powered or not, it was a lot of years ago, but I remember that, after that situation, I always turned off tv and external boxes before plugging/unplugging HDMI cables. Then I would say: yes, it was powered.
I've checked ports for physical damages and I've found nothing that makes me believe that the ports are physically broken.
The picture is showing a board like mine: the two ports (HDMI1 and HDMI2) in the red square are not working, the one in green square...Last edited by DS-1; 09-22-2020, 06:35 AM.

Mitac PD11BI no power anymore
Hi guys!
I have this minipc with this board: https://www.mitacmct.com/IndustrialMotherboard%3DPD11BI%3DPD11BI%3Ddescription%3DEN
I used it with a pico PSU like this: https://www.emko.cz/en/catalog/switching-power-supplies/dc-dc/power-supply-pico-psu-120-atx-dc-dc-12v-120w-h748
The pc was fine, until it started to freeze. It suddenly became unstable (reboots when using two sticks of RAM instead of one), until it didn't power up anymore.
Now the situation is: I have green led power status on the board, but when I hit...

Sony Bravia KDL-40Z4500 hdmi not working anymore
Hi guys!
I have this old but gold 40" Z4500 Sony Bravia LCD TV that had the first issue with HDMI1 port after a couple of years I bought it (in 2008): I connected a cable from an Xbox 360 to HDMI1 and something went wrong, because from that moment HDMI1 port stopped to work. No audio and black screen appeared.
A couple of weeks ago HDMI2 port also stopped working: I used it connected to my PC with a DVI to HDMI cable. Now, like for HDMI1 port, I have no audio and no video in it. And it's a shame because HDMI2 was the only port to support analog audio in.

Re: Corsair GS800 fan spinning only on boot
I have to say that GS800 is working fine: I've tested it on an older machine (p8h61-m le with 4 cores i5 2400 and a HD7870 with dual PCI-E connectors) and, when launching benchmarks, the GS800 fan starts to spin!
The only thing that is strange is that, after 2-3 minutes of benchmark, the fan wants to start, but it's buzzing. After 5 or more minutes, it starts to spin without issues. Maybe there are some problems when, after 2-3 minutes, the temperature is not that high and so it should spin at lower rpm.

Re: AsRock H87M bootloop issue
I've already tried to rewrite it, but unfortunately it doesn't work.
BTW, I took the BIOS ROM from AsRock official page (the .cap file)....

Re: AOpen i45GMx-I - no power
I've tried with ME4856, but the computer still doesn't turn on. Maybe there's something more broken!

Re: AOpen i45GMx-I - no power
Thanks a lot for the reply!
Do you think Si4392DY or ME4856 can be used to replace IRF8714?...Last edited by DS-1; 09-07-2020, 04:46 AM.

AOpen i45GMx-I - no power
Hi guys!
I have this minipc with no power. I've found something broken on the board. It's called IRP1207 (or P120T), but I can't find it as replacement.
I've attached a picture of it.
Can you please help me to recognize an alternative for it?
Thanks in advance for the reply!...

Re: AsRock H87M bootloop issue
The strange thing is that, if I jumper clrcmos for a lot of time (around one hour) and I remove the battery too and then I reassembly all and start the system, it starts and I have no reboot, but with black screen. When I turn it off and then turn it on again, the bootloop starts again!

Re: AsRock H87M bootloop issue
The issue is present also with no ram stick on, so I believe the ram is not the problem, in this case....

Re: AsRock H87M bootloop issue
Thanks for the tips! 2.9v is spent for sure, but can it be a good volts value to make the motherboard works correctly?
I have to try to clean the ram slots, because is the only things I haven't done....

Re: AsRock H87M bootloop issue
Tried 2 PSUs, with and without RAM, with and without CMOS battery (2.95v). Cpu is the only thing I can't change because I have only one of them (1150), but the previous owner also has the same issue, so I believe it can't be the CPU....

AsRock H87M bootloop issue
Hi guys!
I've bought an AsRock H87M used. I already knew that it had this issue: when you press the power button, fans start spinning for a second, then the system reboots endlessly, until you don't shut off the psu.
I've checked the pins on the socket and they are all ok.
What could it be?
Thanks in advance for the reply!

H81M-P33 not working at all
Hi guys!
I have this MSI H81M-P33 that I've bought used on eBay. It doesn't work at all.
I'm using a G3250 Pentium, 4gb DDR3 in DIMM1 slot, Corsair GS800 as PSU and Intel stock cooler.
I've tested everything on another system, except for the CPU, that I've bought used.
When I short the power button, nothing happens. PSU fan doesn't spin and also the cpu fan doesn't spin.
No cpu pin is bent, the board looks almost new.
What should I check on it?
Thanks in advance for the reply!

Re: Corsair GS800 fan spinning only on boot
Yes, I was thinking about the second option (cutting the 230v cable and use the multimeter in Ampere).
I've found that a lot of GS series users have the issue of the fan that seems to start spinning, but no one talk about a real fix for it. Maybe they didn't know about the silent mode?...
