Re: help hp probook 6565b
The file on the HP website is just the update not the full files. If you wrote it to the BIOS chip before backing up the original then you must find a dump and write that.it is winbond chip , it was detected fine by the programmer and all went good and verified , does amd probook needs dump file or it can be flashed right away using the official bin file ?? as far as i know you can flash amd bios right away ? can someone confirm or correct me ?Comment

Re: help hp probook 6565b
This is HP official bios. If it doesnt work then not a bios issue. You can try another bios chip of 2mb size.Might be graphics issue as this series is known to have ati graphics failure.Attached FilesComment

Re: help hp probook 6565b
i need the dump file to use it with my programmer not the official one . i already tried the official one it doesn't work .. not a graphic issue . it has AMD A6 processor which it is APU ( cpu + gpu ) combined together into the processor , the laptop will not turn on at all no power the only light on it is the charger light , no respond to power button and this happened after i flashed the bios . thank youComment

Re: help hp probook 6565b
You are talking funny. The hp official is a full bios. What difference will you get with a dump?? If hp offical bios(which is full) doesnt work-its not a bios issue. Whichever dump you may try, it wont work. You are simply wasting time with flashing. Look for schematic and troubleshoot the signals rather.Comment

by macabookHello everyone,
I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
🧩 Initial Issue- Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight

by piratiHello everyone,
I recently bought a non-working Asus Zenbook Pro Duo OLED UX8402ZA that was listed for parts only. The seller mentioned that it had no display output but that the charging lights worked.
When the laptop arrived (without a charger and SSD), I connected a charger and confirmed with a multimeter that it was charging the battery. However, when I tried to power it on, only the backlight of the secondary display came on. There was no image, and it didn’t boot into the BIOS.
I decided to try flashing a new BIOS, but since I didn’t want to desolder...-

by the_razI'm requesting a bios .bin for 2 of my hp Probook 450 G3's. Both of which I had forgotten the bios passwords. I stupidly flashed both of them with firmware "made" by the RCUnlocker software and I guess I shouldn't have. The last thing I did was flash both of them with RCUnlocker-fw thinking it would 100% work and left my programmer etc behind and won't have access to them for another 2 days so I figured I'd create a thread to see if I'd be so lucky that someone might have a working file laying around 😝

by jbonavitaHi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
Some issues
A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized
Things I tried
1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...-
