3 beep means memory ram. remove and put one ram module at once.

          removed mosfet: pins 1-4 0volts, pin 5 has 12.5 V

I've been tracing rails that produce 1.5v and notice that R2801 Has 3.3 on 1 side and 0 volts on the other side, it has the correct value which is 100k.

check if pin 4 and 5 of q7335 is shorted, if yes replace q7335

if pin 4-5 no shorted replace u7300

edit: voltage on l7330 without any ram module ?

                  Q7335 not shorted.
Measurement of u7300 where without ram.

ok thanks friend i'll try to find another one of these bad boys.
is this chip responsible for creating 1.5v?

is it safe to make a jumper from pin 8 on u7300 to q7335?

wait: pin 4 of q7330 (after removed) has 0 volt, but pin 14 has 1.5 volt.... check c7325

if u can try this first before replacing u7300.

no dont do that jumper wire.

u7300 got enable signal from pin 16, but power good is not ok.

this chip create 1.5 volt for ram memory.

ps: pin 4 of q7330 has 0 volt after u removed it ?

                          C7325 is ok, not shorted.

Q7330 has 12.5v on pin 5, Pins 1-4 has 0v, whether is on or off the board.

I noticed resistor 2801 has 3.3v on 1 side and 0v on the other side, which is supposed to be 1.5v..Does this has anything to do with the memory not being recognized?

circuit about r2801 also generate ddrvtt_en that is present on pin 17 of q7330

is pch getting extremely hot ? if yes could also be a bad nb chip.

Nothing is getting overheated. R2810 has 3.3 on 1 side and 0.0v on the other side.

No Power - Only Beeps - Missing 5V Rail Near F7502
                                by grimacelord
                                Hello,

Working on a PS5 that came to me for no power. Console would not beep or power on when pressing the power button initially. Board model is EDM-010.

I began by taking the console apart and performing a visual inspection on the board. Everything looked fine. I then tested the various fuses across both sides of the board and found that F7001 and F003 were both blown. I then looked closer at F7001 and found that the right side of the fuse read short on my multi-meter, so I injected 1V and found that a capacitor near the F7502 was getting hot, so I removed it and the...

Hi, I'm Daniel, and I'm new to the world of repairing motherboards.

I would like to create a table, or more likely a guideline about the voltage rails and their possible resistance rail.

I know that the motherboard design has a very big depend on the rail's resistance, but I would like to know what is the smallest value for a rail that can be acceptable. For example, I heard that some new gaming motherboards can have 0,5 Ohm resistance on the GPU rail, but on an older type, it could be a sign of a shorted GPU rail.

So, I generated a table with AI so I can...

I am trying to repair my Samsung Chromebook Pro. There is no boot. Upon turning on, the screen is blank and there is no backlight. Power LED is blue. I tried refresh with power and esc refresh with power with no avail.

When I measure the 1.2V rail, it is pulsing. It will jump from 0 to 1.2V then 0 again. I replaced the 2 MOSFET and even power management IC and it is the same. Resistance from midpoint between mosfet to ground is 0.5 kOhm but it will show 250 Ohm first before jumping to 0.5 kOhm. So it feels like it was charging up some capacitor. Since MOSFET and IC was replaced, I...

Hello everyone, i have zotac gtx 1060 3gb, and it has missing one rail. I think its 1v but I'm not sure. This rail has 34 Ohms, but after test on on my testbench, it drops to 2ohm, after some time it back to 34 Ohms. Next to this coil is up1727q. And there are 3,3 on vin pin and 5v on vdd pin. I changed this chip with another one but it didnt help. When i tried Short circuit test, core didnt heat up so maybe its still alive. I dont have thermal camera :/. I dont have boardview and schemstic for this GPU too. What should i check next? Or maybe its just dead core?
