Hello. I have an S6 Edge that I replaced the screen on, now it keeps restarting after about a minute of being on in a constant loop. The battery drains extremely fast also. The problem didn't occur until I used a screen with the frame due to the screen without the frame having small gaps making it vulnerable to moisture. But it worked fine with the screen without the frame. I thought maybe the frame was causing it to keep looping, so I returned the screen for another one and it still keeps looping. I've changed charging port, battery, and tried to restore( but won't complete before turning off and back on loop) all with no luck. It seems it is a motherboard problem but I made sure I was extremely careful with it. Can anyone help me identify this problem and what I need to do to fix it? Please!!! I have equipment to fix it, any previous experience with this particular matter would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge keeps restarting!!!
I thought of that too, maybe the firmware was corrupt. I am with a provider named C Spire. Where can I find correct firmware? And it may be stupid question, but do I flash firmware by micro sd card?Comment

The meter is fine but you might need some fine needle tips as the ends on standard probes can be a bit to big.Comment

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....-

by mecha1166Some new tvs have an LCD screen attached to the outside of the frame with foam tape. These are "edge to edge" as they are called. I am trying to figure out how to reattach an LCD panel back up to the frame. The manufacturer used 3/16 inch foam tape along the top and rh/lh edges. I used a razor blade to separate the panel from the metal frame. The metal frame that the panel is taped to is 1/4 inch wide along the 2 sides and top. I completely removed the residue from the metal frame. There is some residue on the panel itself along the 3 edges, I removed almost all of it using alcohol and...
