Hp G62 but safina undervolt mod...

Some of the members asked me to write a tutorial about undervolting rs880 on safina motherboard...Some time ago Th3_uN1Qu3 posted this but for quanta motherboard...I couldn`t find it so if someone has it,post it here,it would be nice for future use...
Hp g62 came with no image problem...I replaced RS880(215-0752001) chipset and it works fine now...Normal NB core voltage is about 1,125v but i`ve managed to pull it down, messing with feedback circuit of TPS51217, up to 0,92V without loosing stability, by putting 16K resistor in place of PC106(which is not mounted on the board). More can be done,so feel free to experiment...I have made excel calculator for calculating resistor or desired voltage and it is pretty straight forward but if you have any questions feel free to ask...

Thanks...For g62 or cq56 quanta motherboard DAOAX2MB6E1 for same chipset use 4.7kohm instead PC85 to achieve similar voltage...
For voltage manipulation use Th3_uN1Qu3 calculator...

Hp 15 with a i5-10210u procesor reaches 95 grados C. Is there any chance to undervolt,?
        by dreico33
        Hellow guys,
I have an Hp 15 i5 10210u with heat issues even after a complete cleanup on its collling assy. So i dont know of there isn any chance to undervolt ( and how )it in order to drop down its temp.
        Thank you for your time.

Elektronika EPOS-73A stuck with fixed display
        by carlitosbala
        Hi,

I'm hoping I can get some ideas on what to check in this old (1978) soviet-era electronic calculator I got from a flea market, the Elektronika EPOS-73A.

Got it home and plugged it in. It worked just fine at first, I used it a few times for a few minutes each time, "kid with new toy" style.

Then I disassembled it to clean the plastic case and the keys. I couldn't separate the lower half of the case from the board because cables are tied to it, so during the cleanup one of the cables going from the power board to the main board detached,...

Panasonic TC-P60S30 - no standby voltage
        by BobbyMJ
        Hi All,
Wanting to learn some electronics repair skills.
I found a non working Panasonic TC-P60S30 and this is my first project / attempt.

So far I have found a blown cap on the main power supply board.
After replacing it there's still no standby power.

Poked around and found a resistor on the PSUB power supply board that measures open.

An online resistor calculator shows this is a 93k ohm resister.

        My questions:

        Is that correct, 93k ohms?
        Is it a fusible resistor?
Lastly, how do I know what wattage?...

General Question- Electronics from 70's and 80's
        by proton32064
I have a question since I am new here and I don't know if this is the right forum to ask these questions or if I am wasting your time.
I am 67 and have a lot of Radios and Electronics I grew up with which puts a lot of them at 50 years or older.
A lot of the capacitors are obviously bad but this is my problem.
An example would be the Panasonic RC-7469 Clock Radio and the Panasonic RF-888 Radio.
I have others like a Canon L-162 Nixie Desktop Calculator 110AC, etc.

I have the Service Manuals to some of these and other electronics I have and grew up with and...

Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen 9. What the hell did they do?
        by FeerBaron
I am trying to enable undervolt and disable me engine. I read the bios from 2 hardware programmers and FPT. Inside FPT, all looks normal. From the HW programmers, the Flash Descriptor is shifted, nvram is encrypted? or missing and LNVSEC thing isn't visible. I thought my programmer was broken but that seem to not be the case..

        Hardware Read Header

        Normal header with FPT

        Hidden header at 0x100000

FPT of course will not write the bios region despite not being read only and no nvram editing tools can write on live system.
