see if they will charge a mobile phone . if so if it doesn't recognise the phone you need to look in device manager to see if there is a problem showing up .
saying that what operating system is it running ?
if it wont charge the phone the 5v supply is missing and you need to find out why .Comment

Then at first confirm the usb_vcc_en signal is 3.3v or not. If it's 3.3v then replace usb voltage driver ic.Comment

I have a Dell Latitude 7410 with an Intel i7 10th Gen CPU. The USB Type-C port is not working, and since it's the only charging port on the device, I'm unable to charge the laptop.
I inspected the motherboard and found that the IC labeled TPS65988 had a short circuit. I ordered a replacement IC from Alibaba and replaced it. The short issue is now resolved, but the laptop still doesn't charge, and the Type-C port remains non-functional.
After doing some research, I found out that the TPS65988 needs to be programmed after replacement in order to function properly.

Hello Guys,
I currently have a problem with an HP 355 G2 where the right USB Port works without a Problem but the left ones and the Ethernet port which is also in the region of the two USB ports are not working.
The HP Hardware Diagnostic tool also shows them as faulty. I used a USB tester and it also shows that I don't have 5V on the ports so I suspect a problem with an IC that controls the Voltages that goes to this ports.
Unfortunately I found no boardview or schematic for this device and I am a newbie in tech repairs so I don't know where to start. Other than this problem... -
this laptop can turn on normally but all usb pro 2.0 not detected...i try wired mouse on usb port number 1, got light on the mouse but nothing happen and no error pop up....on usb port number 2 no light at all when attach mouse...

On motherboard ACER AN515-52 type LAF951P.
I fixed issue with not starting computer (it was the PQ201 component not working properly).
But after checking everything I have still an issue with secondary SATA connector JHD1 (for HDD typically).
Basically some HDD spin but are not detected by the bios.
Already tried following:
checked the 4 data lines
#2 RDSATA_PTX_C_DRX_P4 => CO18 (10nF seems OK) => RO24 (0Ohm measured at 0.25Ohms).

Hi,
I have an really very weired issue with ASUS ROG STRIX B550-I GAMING.
Some NVME (PCIe) SSD's are not working correctly in the second M.2 socket. An example of it is the SAMSUNG SSD980 1TB NVME SSD.
Some other NVME (I have only smaller ones) disk do work without any problem, also SAMSUNG disks, eg an MZVPV128HDGM-0000.
The behaviour is also really very strange, i.e.:- The disk shows always up in BIOS - so it is recognized, so far so good
- POST-ing with this disk with fresh Windows 24H2 installation (done in the M.2_1 socket) in the M.2_2 socket
