So using the supplied info from mielta I would check and verify the modifications are correct and up to date. On the modifications I would be looking with what is failing. So too verify: in the So State you have all the voltages on page 3?

Thanks @mielta.. but i don't quite know how to use the schematic... Because this is my first time attempting fix at chip level

@dreamer_x_x the coil near the overheating chip is around 1600++ ohm.. so i assume no short.. thanks

Yes there is on page 43. Once you save the PDF schematics go to edit. Click on edit. Look down to the word find. Click on find. Now a pop up on the right side will appear. Put in pq102. Then press the button enter.

Now if you want to find B+ do same above procedure but insert the B+ where you but the pq102. It will find B+ and when you press enter again it will find the next B+ on the schematics and so on. This works with most schematics however it is dependant on who made the PDF.

Sorry for late reply, the PU301 is overheating and the voltage reads at each pin at s0(off) are :

                (v)
                1 1.2
                2 no reading (0.019)
                3 2.1
                4 2.1
                5 0.3
                6 1.1
                7 3.5
                8 3.5
                9 8.5
                10 3.3
                11 3.3
                12 0
                13 3.1

                17 5.3
                18 5.3
                19 0

                24 5.3
Tell me if anything is wrong with the readings

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
                  by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                  Assuming...

Guide to transplant MEC1503 EC chip and EEPROM reprogamming for T14s gen 2 and X13 gen 2
                  by acedogblast
This is a guide that I am writing for helping others to replace their MEC1503 EC chip if it breaks (or to get around an inconvenient prompt to the BIOS). This forum has been extremely helpful to me so I would like to contribute to help others. I will tell you right now that this task is very difficult to do. You MUST have experience and tools to do precision micro-soldering, BGA reballing, trace repair, and general laptop repair skills.

There are some specialty tools needed to do this task. The replacement MEC1503 chips can be acquired from Aliexpress. Do not buy the bare chips as...

Desoldering gun station modified to use a 18 volt @ 20 amp switching power supply
                  by sam_sam_sam
I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...
