Hello everyone. Here is the issue I have. I have a Toshiba C875 that will turn on, but the screen will not come on. Zero display. I've swapped out the ram with no success. I've ordered a new MB with no success. I've changed the processor with no success. I've unplugged everything from the MB except power input, power button, and display connection with no success. I've plugged it into a monitor via VGA cable with no success. What else could I possibly do to troubleshoot this?!

Re: Toshiba C875-S7205 power on but no screen
That motherboard is faulty as hell! Even if you do reball the gpu chances are you are going to need to replace the chipset itself as it will make no difference.
Trust me i had to throw a lot of them in the pile of scraps.
Have you tried resetting the bios?Comment

by PantherDaveHi all!
I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅
I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

by grimacelordHello,
I have an HP 15-eh1070wm laptop that came to me for the same reasons I am starting this thread. The charging LED appears when the laptop power adapter is connected and the power LED appears when pressing the power button, but nothing appears on screen.
First thing I did was take off the bottom panel and remove the battery and then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds and then reinstall the battery and power on. The fan spins and this time, the back light illuminates and a brief message appears on the screen for about 1 second saying something along like,...-

by joaquinmjuanHello, I have a Canon TS8350 printer. The problem is that when I turn it on, "CANON" appears on the screen, but it never goes away. You can leave it on for a whole day, and it doesn't go away. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried unplugging it, but nothing. I've also tried holding down POWER, but nothing. In fact, once it turns on, it can't be turned off with the Power button. I've also held down Power and then plugged it into the Power supply, and the power light flashes once and doesn't turn on, but then when I press Power again, it turns on. Currently, it's a nearly new paperweight,...05-07-2025, 12:26 AM

by AlicatHello,
Stopped by this site trying to fix my parents Panasonic Plasma TV.
Model number is TH-50PZ85U
Power comes on and the red power light stays on solid.
Did a few checks like hold the power button on for 60 seconds, hold the - Volume while holding the menu button, no luck, still@ blank grey screen as the screen lights up very vague.
I also hear a few clicks.
I also think my parents said there was a thunderstorm and the TV failed after that.
Section 6 in the service manual talks about power and no screen,...10-30-2024, 10:09 AM -
by sam_sam_samI have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump
One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy... - Loading...
