Clevo W251ESMB no DD_ON thus no VDD5.

Hi guys,

I got this dead Clevo which only measures VDD3 but is missing VDD5.

There is no DD_ON signal to enable VDD5 but if I lift the corresponding pin from ITE8518E and force DD_ON then VDD5 appears.

I reflashed the BIOS and EC and also replaced ITE8515E. No change.

Any ideas where I should look next?

I am using schematics for W253 as there is not exact match available.

it was the on-off button, DD_ON asserts after the button is pressed. went straight to I/O and shorted SW# pin to ground -> motherboard turned on.
