So I got this G6 from a customer saying "you can have it". It was used in an auto shop for a diagnostics program
It's an AMD F1 socket model (A6-4400)
When I got it, the fan was spinning a lot, I got HW monitor on there and it showed the temps idling at 100 and reaching as high as 125c. Taking it apart, I removed the crappy thermal crud, used arctic silver 5, but not much. Temps were the same. I thought there was a gap so I got a pure copper square and gooped both sides with AS5
temps dropped but not by much. They maxed out at about 110, but idled at about 80-85c
voltages show normal, so is this a bad temp sensor? everything else seems to be working ok
