    HP pavillion 15 help please

    Hi im working with this laptop hp 15 envy DAOU81MBC60 rev:C , do not charge i find

    C556 burned replaced it no power,

    the problem is PC150 removed it and i make a bridge with 3,15a fuse and TURN ON CHARGE TOO but with battery PQ37 it gets too hot .

    anybody have schematic or any idea with what can i replace PC150

      just replace PC150 the same physical size on the one you removed.
      take from another board. if you can get the donors board schematic much better.
      for you can see on the schema the value of capacitors.

      PC150 = 2200P/50V

      check PC33

        the schematic is not the same and replaced PC150 but no power o don t know what can i do without schematic.

          without battery function normally maybe PQ37 (M3016D) is defected ?

              maybe , PQ37 have 19v on all pins , what do you think it is normal ?

                No.
                Think how much voltage it needs to.charge a bettery.
                If the bat its rated with 11.7v how much will it take?

                If you got a car you will see that a 12v bat will need 13.3-13.5 v to charge.

                Here will be under 13v.

                No wonder the fet gets hot.
                If you probe a working board with bat on you will see 3.3v alw and 12-12.7 v
                Just cook it! It's already broken.

                    Trace the gate.

                    See where it leaks . Why did you got that voltage on that pin.

                    Gate pin ita not internaly connected to S or D.

                    Ofc if its shorted you never know. Take it off and test it in diide mode.
                    Ohm test to see if it leaks
                    Just cook it! It's already broken.
